“Cleveland, Ohio band Morning In May are known for descriptive lyrics that bring songs to life in a cinematic way, MIM finds themselves at the forefront of modernizing pop-rock. With their most recent tour supporting Makeout on a 5-week run and has made a past appearance on Warped Tour 18.’ The band has played alongside names such as Hawthorne Heights, Underoath and August Burns Red. MIM has headlined shows at Hollywood’s Whiskey A-Go-Go and has played Launch Music Conference main stage accompanied by acts including Set It Off and I Set My Friends On Fire.
The group has worked with Matt Malpass (Blink-182, Lil Lotus, Machine Gun Kelly) on their forthcoming single “Table Etiquette” and Escape The Fate’s frontman Craig Mabbitt in single release “Orpheus in Retrospect,” released in October of 2020. Morning In May has contrived and maintained relationships with Spirit Airlines and booking agency, Dynamic Talent International. MIM has been previously signed to Manic Kat Records and Needful Things/Tragic Hero Records.

The song’s title refers to the movie, The Shawshank Redemption, as a fan, MIM shot their video at The Ohio State Reformatory, where the film had been made.
