HOLIDELIC, created by Grammy-nominated singer/percussionist EVERETT BRADLEY (Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, SEAL and more) is funk-lore cleverly told through 70’s and 80’s inspired originals and reimagined classics that celebrate diversity and love as one nation under a groove.   “Bradley’s tunes will liven up anyone’s familiar mix of music with pulsating rhythms that bring to mind the work of funk and soul greats like Sly Stone and P-Funk and clever conceits that put a fresh spin on familiar sentiments…” Andy Propstisfits Papadelic affectionately calls dysFUNKtional. The setting is the best of Bradley’s favorite 2 worlds: theatre with a club dance floor! And after 20 years, Bradley has perfected his funk holiday magic into a Christmas classic.

“A flashy, bass-heavy retro-futuristic take on the holidays.” The New Yorker

“A holiday funk-tacular.” Time Out New York

“Original songs that celebrate diversity.” OUT.com (http://out.com/)

HOLIDELIC, created by Grammy-nominated singer/percussionist EVERETT BRADLEY (Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, SEAL and more) is funk-lore cleverly told through 70’s and 80’s inspired originals and reimagined classics that celebrate diversity and love as one nation under a groove. Bradley brings to life the role of Papadelic, funk’s Father Christmas, a combo of George Clinton and a soulful Santa. He weaves this psychedelic holiday tale with humor, heart and booty shakin’ grooves played by a P-funk clad band of top shelf misfits Papadelic affectionately calls dysFUNKtional. The setting is the best of Bradley’s favorite 2 worlds: theatre with a club dance floor! And after 20 years, Bradley has perfected his funk holiday magic into a Christmas classic.
One of the most sought after singers, writers, and performers in the entertainment world, Everett Bradley’s resume reads like a who’s who of show business. Spanning from multiple genres of music to theater and television, this Grammy-nominated force of nature has lent his unique blend of extraordinary talent, exuberance, and heart to every tour, session, Broadway show and TV program he has been a part of. And there have been many.

His vocal, percussion and keyboard work have included playing with Bruce Springsteen’s famed E Street Band, and touring with Bon Jovi and Hall & Oates. He’s been Carly Simon’s musical director, and worked with luminaries ranging from David Bowie to Cyndi Lauper, Bobby McFerrin, Ann Hampton Callaway, Richie Sambora, Chris Botti, and Lucy Woodward. He’s also worked with renowned producers Snarky Puppy and Quincy Jones.

Originally from South Carolina, Everett’s musical influences were initially Motown and Stax records – the stuff his siblings were listening to. But when his family moved to Indiana, Everett’s friends were listening to Aerosmith and Billy Joel, unknowingly laying the foundation for his later musical success in rock ‘n roll.

Everett is also known for the Holidelic Christmas party, a longstanding seasonal extravaganza that is typically presented to packed out NYC audiences as well as a number of other great Northeast venues (Club Helsinki in Hudson, World Cafe Live in Philly, Daryl’s House).
