David Koster’s Space Radio is a high energy 8 Piece Psychedelic Rock Opera Jam Band from Philadelphia that meshes both modern and retro soundscapes, tapping into elements of Queen, Grateful Dead, The Band, and Frank Zappa.  Their music features carefully thought out lyrics and intricacies that are meant to remove the listener from everyday life and transport them to their happy place.  Each song is unique and has a specific purpose or emotion it is trying to evoke.  

David Koster’s Space Radio is a Psychedelic Jam Rock group from Philadelphia that meshes both modern and retro soundscapes while adding hints of reggae, funk, bluegrass, jazz, and more. Their shows feature primarily original music, as well as skillful covers from a variety of eras. Since mid-2021, David Koster’s Space Radio has been playing events/venues including World Cafe Live, Ardmore Music Hall, The Queen, Karnival of the Arts (CA and PA), Camp Jam in the Pines, Beardfest, Union Firehouse, Kung Fu Necktie, The Holding Company (San Diego), Three Links (Dallas), The 8x10 (Baltimore), Ardmore Music Hall, The Queen (Wilmington), Snipes In & Out Of The Garden Festival, Bowie’s (Nashville) and Milo The Meeting House, where top artists such as Scott Sharrard (current lead guitarist for Little Feat, previous bandleader for The Gregg Allman Band) have been showcased. DKSR has played alongside the likes of Dopapod, Billy Walton Band, SunSquabi, Cabinet, Snacktime, Yam Yam, Marcus Rezak, Ike Willis, Ernie White and Karina Rykman.
