PhoenixRose Rising Entertainment Presents: Winter Slam 2026

Based out of Quakertown Pennsylvania, Strange Culture PA is a fresh take on a four piece alternative metalcore band and was recently chosen to be "The Local Shot Band of The Month" for May 2024 by 93.3 WMMR.

While taking inspiration from dark ambient sounds, the band produces both high energy and groovy tracks that leaves the listener asking, “what is going to come next?" The band originally formed in 2022 and released its first track to the public in 2023. Feedback from fans reinforced the emotionally striking song writing, leading to many singles being written and produced in the same unique tone. Strange Culture PA is constantly improving and growing with the aim to be heard by anyone and everyone that enjoys music.

Formed in 2013 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, DISSENTIENCE is a progressive death-thrash metal band that combines the technical precision of death metal with the relentless energy of thrash. Rejecting retro imitation and genre stagnation, the band creates forward-thinking metal that is both aggressive and dynamic. Drawing influence from bands like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, DISSENTIENCE forges a sound built on sharp riffs, crushing rhythms, and inventive songwriting.

We are a 5 piece Heavy Metal/ Metalcore band from North Eastern PA. We've been playing the surrounding tri state area for over 10 years. We provide a variety of aggressive audio, peppered with some gentle experimentation.
