Drye/Marinaro Dance Company and Annex Dance Company come together for Where We Meet, an evening of contemporary dance exploring how movement, memory, and artistic relationships stay with us long after the original moment has passed.

The performance marks a meaningful reunion between Francesca Marinaro, co-founder of Drye/Marinaro Dance Company and founder of FuSia Dance, and Kristin Alexander, Artistic Director of Annex Dance Company.

Francesca’s journey with Annex began as a founding company member. Now, with Annex based in Charleston, South Carolina, the two companies reunite on stage, bringing years of shared artistic history full circle.

Join us for a celebration of dance, connection, and the creative relationships that continue to inspire us.

Drye/Marinaro Dance Company (DMDC) is a unique and stylistically diverse dance company that creates through contemporary, modern, theater, and non-western dance forms. Our dancers thrive on collaboration, often working with musicians, poets, set designers, and artists of other mediums. Our creative process is often influenced by themes of identity, unity, faith, and/or mental health, striving to support the evolution of dance as an art, an expression, and a way of life to both entertain and intrigue audiences with thought-provoking themes.
