Nonpoint is coming to the Sherman Theater for The Even More…Outta Control Tour with SOiL, SpineShank, and (hed)p.e on August 4th!
Since their inception, Nonpoint has carved out a unique place in the world of rock music, blending raw energy, thoughtful lyricism, and genre-defying soundscapes. Over the years, the band has continually evolved, navigating the changing tides of the music industry with resilience and innovation. Their dynamic performances and uncompromising vision have earned them a dedicated global following and a reputation as one of the most electrifying acts in modern metal.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Nonpoint has long been a force to be reckoned with in the nu-metal/rap-rock genre. Known for legendary live performances and explosive tracks such as “Bullet with a Name”, “What a Day”, “Ruthless,” and more, the band has consistently captivated audiences with infectious riffs, compelling lyrics, and an uncompromising raw energy. Their discography and stagecraft have made them staples at rock radio and fixtures on festival lineups, earning them a dedicated international following.

In recent years, Nonpoint’s relentless drive has carried them into new heights of creative autonomy and global recognition. The success of their independent label, 361 Degrees Records, has solidified their place in metal history while empowering them to forge their own path. Their Heartless EP, featuring the thunderous single “A Million Watts,” reaffirms the band’s signature sound—inviting, visceral, and unforgettable. The momentum continued with the 2024 release of “Underdog,” a bold anthem that sparked fresh waves of energy through the rock landscape.

2025 Update:
This year, Nonpoint has maintained their dominance on the festival circuit with standout performances at Welcome To Rockville, Louder than Life, Aftershock, Sonic Temple, and the Nu-Metal Revolution Festival in Mexico City. Alongside their festival triumphs, the band has been celebrating milestone anniversaries of their iconic albums—“To the Pain” and “Statement”—with headlining tours that have reignited the passion of longtime fans and introduced their powerful legacy to new audiences. In addition to these headline events, Nonpoint has lent their explosive live presence as direct support for Seether and Lacuna Coil during their recent album cycles.
Currently, the band is hard at work crafting their 11th full-length studio album, slated for release in 2026, promising yet another chapter in their evolution of sound and influence.
Ryan McCombs (lead vocals) Tim King (bass) Adam Zadel (guitar) TJ Taylor (Drums) Formed in 1997, Chicago Heavy Rock band SOiL quickly took the scene by storm. The band has sold over 2 million albums worldwide and is best known for the hit singles "Halo", "Unreal", "Redefine", "The Lesser Man", and "Shine On".

With the song "Halo" gaining major radio attention, a major label bidding war broke out in an attempt to sign SOiL. The band would ultimately sign to J Records (BMG) by music indus try legend Clive Davis. Clive, responsible for signing such acts as Pink Floyd and Aerosmith, stated that "you're gonna be my only rock band for now. You're going to be a priority, and I want to break this band." SOiL experienced mainstream success with t he major label debut "Scars" which was released in September 2001. This achievement was aided by the popular singles "Halo" and "Unreal" which gained the band exposure on MTV. The success resulted in the band winning Metal Edge magazine's 2001 Readers' Cho ice Award for "Next Big Thing". The band consistently toured in support of top name acts such as Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie which propelled the group into arena sized venues and crowds.

In 2004, the band released their second major label album "re.de.fi ne". The group toured for a year straight in support of the album and returned home to begin writing follow up material and finish various live dates.

The band released their next two albums "True Self" (2006) and "Picture Perfect" (2009) and proved that they were a mainstay in the Hard Rock world with non stop touring and by spawning yet another top charting hit single with "The Lesser Man" in 2010.

SOiL released its sixth studio album, entitled "Whole" on August 20, 2013. The album was a "Return to form" for the band and has been hailed by fans and critics alike as the album that could have come directly after the "Scars" album. Some featured songs from "WHOLE" include the top 40 charting singles "Shine On" and "The Hate Song". Both meeting with strong rotation and charting at the Active Rock format.

In 2017 SOiL released its first greatest hits album "Scream: The Essentials" which featured the band's most popular songs, along with alternate versions of some material.

In August of 2022 SOiL released a special collection of cover songs called "Play It Forward" which features songs by White Zombie, Motorhead, The Ramones, and a unique twist on the Halsey hit "Nightmare" among others. SOiL continue to tour worldwide and stay active in the music industry.
Los Angeles heavies Spineshank began in February of 1996, rising from the ashes of a previous band, Basic Enigma (which included future Spineshankers Johnny Santos on vocals, Mike Sarkisyan on guitars, and Tom Decker on drums). Basic Enigma broke up upon hearing Demanufacture, the 1996 release by electro-metallists Fear Factory, but soon re-formed with a different sound and moniker, and a new bassist (Robert Garcia). The band soon befriended Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares, who upon hearing their demo, offered the new band to open a show for F.F. at the Whiskey A-Go-Go in Los Angeles. This led to other coveted opening slots (with such popular acts as Coal Chamber, Snot, Soulfly, Sepultura, and Danzig, among others), and label interest, with Roadrunner eventually signing the band. Their debut, Strictly Diesel, was released in September of 1998, and featured yet another tie-in with their favorite band: Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell sings on the track "Stain." Height of Callousness followed two years later. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi
Huntington Beach, California's (hed) p.e. (the "pe" stands for "Planet Earth") were founded in 1994 by frontman Jahred (aka M.C.U.D. aka Jared Gomes), whose goal was to fuse the region's long-standing punk rock heritage with G-funk-inflected hip-hop -- a sound he labeled "G-punk." The group found mainstream success in the early 2000s via their second and third albums, Broke and Blackout, both of which were released by Jive Records. A move to indie label Suburban Noize yielded the 9/11 Truth Movement concept LP New World Orphans, and in 2019 the eclectic rockers issued their tenth studio long-player, Stampede.

(hed) p.e. (also comprising lead guitarist Wesley "Wesstyle" Geer, rhythm guitarist Chad "Chizad" Benekos, bassist Mark "Mawk" Young, drummer Ben "B.C." Vaught, and Doug "DJ Product @ 1969" Boyce on turntables and samples) released their eponymous debut through Jive Records, then hit the road with Ozzfest and bands like Korn, Static-X, and System of a Down. A second album, Broke, followed in the year 2000, and a third, Blackout, arrived in 2003, after which (hed) p.e. switched labels from Jive to Koch and underwent something of an overhaul (welcoming new guitarist Jaxon Benge and drummer Mark "Moke" Bistany) prior to recording their fourth album, 2005's Only in Amerika.

The all-new Back 2 Base X and the Best of (hed) Planet Earth compilation arrived in 2006, followed by Flat Bill Hat in the summer of 2007 and the politically charged concept LP New World Orphans in 2009. A second compilation, titled Major Pain 2 Indee Freedom: The Best of Hed P.E., was released in 2010, featuring a new track and a limited-edition concert film of the group performing live in Los Angeles. That same year they dropped Truth Rising, which broke into the Billboard Top 100. Yet another compilation was released in 2013, just as DJ Product parted ways with the band. More departures came the next year as Benge and Young left, replaced by Greg "Gregzilla" Harrison and Kurt "Kid Bass" Blankenship, respectively. Evolution (previously titled Ascension) was issued in the summer of 2014. Forever!, their ninth effort and first with only one founding member, arrived in 2016. In 2019 the band returned with their tenth full-length effort, the versatile Stampede. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia & Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi
